(It's) Hairpsray! is the seventeenth episode of JamesonOTP's ongoing fan fiction, Glee: The Next Generation. It is a tribute to the musical, Hairspray. It was an extra long episode, much like "Heal the World." It was released in two acts, Act I being released January 6, and Act II January 11. It was the first episode to be released on 2012.
Plot[]
New Directions is Nationals bound, but first they need to come up with a way to pay for the trip to Vegas for the entire club. Miles suggests they do a musical, recalling his experience with The Wizard of Oz. It's a pretty much unanimous decision to do Hairspray. With Kurt at the helm following his success with Wicked, the spring muscial is sure to be a hit. In the meantime, McKinley starts to prepare for Prom, Lucas makes his triumphant return, and a one couple may be in danger as a surprising backstage affair comes to light. It's fun, it's music, it's dance, it's Hairspray!
